If you haven't already seen it ..... I think you would enjoy "2005: Some of the Goods," Matthew Cheney's take on the science fiction "best ofs" for 2005, at http://locusmag.com/2006/Features/Cheney_BestOf2005.html . Unlike any other such article I've ever read, this one includes a section on science fiction poetry.
I've just spent half an hour wading through endless pages of comments/responses to the announcement of the recent change here at LJ ... the one that -- to put it in primitive terms comprehensible to yourscyberchallengedtruly -- means we now have different URLs for getting to our journals. I've been trying to find out why I now can't use LJ pages without constantly being asked to log in again. There no longer seems to be a way to stay logged in -- that is, no such choice is being offered. Maybe that's because of the security problems that prompted the change, and maybe it's because I'm just not looking in the right places. If I'm doing something wrong (again), I'd be grateful for instructions on how to do it right.
