Recommended link; conlang conference...
On April 23, 2006 a conlang conference -- the "First Language Creation Conference" -- will be held at UC Berkeley. The conference has a website, at http://conlangs.berkeley.edu ; there's a print-ready flyer at http://conlangs.berkeley.edu/flyer.pdf . I've donated an autographed copy of the Láadan grammar and dictionary (and its accompanying CD and information packet) for the auction. Recommended.

For once, I begin to wish I was actually living in California again... Alas, I can't justify flying that far for the conference, and more's the pity. Thank you for the link, though. I wonder if they'll have any audio recordings of the panels available afterwards.
