Two personal notes....
(1)
My posting to this journal is going to be erratic this week, and you'll know why. It's because I will be cleaning and cooking and baking and wrapping and decorating and whirling like a gig, all week, getting ready for the Family Christmas Fandango next Sunday. Once we're past the holiday -- and once I've finished writing the January/February newsletters -- things should return to normal. [I'll be sorry; I am always sorry when Christmas is over; but I have had to accept the fact that I can't expect it to go on all year round. Alas.]
(2)
I've just noticed that the times shown beside my LJ posts bear not the vaguest resemblance to reality. Most of the time, I post between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Where the times shown beside them come from, I have no idea. If this is something I should be able to fix, please tell me how, and on January 2nd I'll try to fix it; if it's like ticks and tornadoes -- inevitable and beyond my control -- I won't worry about it.
